We are a leading distributor of chemical specialties with offices across Europe. As a key partner for both chemical raw material manufacturers and the chemical industry in general, we operate in multiple sectors, including Personal Care, Food, Plastics, Coatings, Adhesives, and Sealants. Due to our growth, we are currently looking to add a new team member to our offices in Barcelona.
Reporting directly to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for increasing our business volume in the Iberian market for the Food & Pharma division across a wide range of products. To achieve this, you will develop the current client portfolio and represented companies, seeking new business opportunities, providing technical and commercial solutions to clients, and maintaining close relationships with the represented companies.
What are we looking for?
We are seeking someone with a background relevant to the position (chemistry, pharmacy, etc.). The candidate should have commercial experience within the chemical sector and be knowledgeable about raw materials in the food and/or pharmaceutical industries. Travel availability is required, as well as a fluent level of English. Additionally, knowledge of the Portuguese language will be highly valued.
You have strong negotiation, influencing, and deal-closing skills in complex sales situations. We are looking for a dynamic individual who is highly motivated by sales goals, able to identify new opportunities, and has a mindset focused on business expansion.
