Due to our growth, we are currently looking to add a new team member to our offices in Preston.

We are a leading distributor of chemical specialties with offices across Europe. As a key partner for both chemical raw material manufacturers and the chemical industry in general, we operate in multiple sectors, including Plastics, Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, Personal Care and Food.

You are the first point of contact for customers in your industry and region. You will be responsible for all commercial decisions and are technically skilled in the industry. You travel a lot through the United Kingdom visit existing customers, but also to develop new business. Entrepreneurship and ownership of the sector are highly valued.

Reporting directly to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for increasing our business volume in the market for the Adhesives, Sealants and Plastics division across a wide range of products. To achieve this, you will develop the current client portfolio and represented companies, seeking new business opportunities, providing technical and commercial solutions to clients, and maintaining close relationships with the represented companies.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking someone with a background relevant to the position. The candidate should have commercial experience within the chemical sector and be knowledgeable about raw materials in your industries. Travel availability is require.

You have strong negotiation, influencing, and deal-closing skills in complex sales situations. We are looking for a dynamic individual who is highly motivated by sales goals, able to identify new opportunities, and has a mindset focused on business expansion.

You work in a team with other industry managers, responsible for other segments. Also, an inside sales team supports you in your business and sales efforts.

Providing technical solutions, delivering service and adding value are the main drivers of our sales teams.
